‘If you want your wedding photos to feel like love from the movies, I’m your girl’

I’m Emma, a wedding photographer based in Adelaide, specialising in capturing emotion, natural light, and timeless wedding imagery through a blend of documentary and editorial styles.

My style is guided by storytelling. I believe in combining candid moments, gentle direction, and considered poses to truly capture the entirety of your love story. From the quiet, intimate glances to the laughter-filled celebrations, my aim is to create a heartfelt collection of images that reflect not only the beauty of your wedding day but also the emotions that make it uniquely yours.

I draw inspiration from iconic & romantic cinematography—think Pride and Prejudice, Lady Chatterley’s Lover, One Day, The Notebook, Out of Africa, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Ghost… the list goes on. This approach to photography results in wedding images that feel more like cinematic stills than stiff, uncomfortable posed shots. Basically, if you want your wedding day to look like love from the movies, I’m your girl. This style is also perfect for couples who feel unsure of what to do, or feel a little awkward in front of the camera.

Apart from photography, I’m a typical Adelaide Hills girl who loves a cup of tea by the fire, a bit of gardening, interior design & architecture, long countryside walks with my border collie, and a few squares (or more) of ALDI’s hazelnut praline chocolate.

  • Fill out the online ‘contact’ form and from there I will organise a meet up in person or via zoom. If you’re happy to go ahead, I will send you an invoice and contract. Your date is secured once your deposit is paid and your contract is signed.

  • I’m so glad you asked - yes! I love to shoot film. I currently offer complimentary film photography as a fun addition to the ‘full day’ wedding package. Your day will be captured digitally with my Canon camera’s, especially all the important moments, but I always have my film camera with me for the right moments. 

  • I like timeless wedding photography with true-to-life edits and elegant black and white imagery. My approach is a blend of documentary storytelling with editorial moments, ensuring you can enjoy your day without being pulled away for prolonged posing sessions. At the same time, I will make sure that you have some lovely editorial-style images to print & cherish. I love natural light and the way it interacts with shadows to create romantic and emotive photographs. I draw inspiration from iconic cinematic love stories - think Pride & Prejudice, Lady Chatterley's Lover, One Day, The Notebook, Out of Africa, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and Ghost. This cinematic approach results in wedding photographs that feel more like stills from a cherished film. This style is ideal for couples who may feel uncertain about what to do in front of the camera or those who prefer a more relaxed and authentic representation of their day.

  • I will send you a selection of key moments the day after your wedding. ‘Full Day’ packages include 4 week express, priority editing. Otherwise, please allow up to 6 weeks to receive your full gallery.

  • I will recommend a second shooter if you are having an extra large wedding (200+ guests)

  • Same! So I totally understand and I promise that I will go above and beyond to make sure that you feel comfortable. I will gently guide you into positions for your portraits and then let your natural love shine. Together, we'll create beautiful, authentic images that truly reflect your love story.

  • Yes, I love photo albums. I often say, ‘don’t let your photographs rot on your hardrive!’

    As each couples needs and preferences are unique, I offer personalised quotes based on a case-by-case assessment. The design process is collaborative, this ensures that your wedding album will reflect your unique style & day. Your wedding album will be one of your most treasured possessions, a legacy to be enjoyed for generations. Prices start at $1500

  • I am based in Adelaide but I am happy to travel both domestically & internationally.
