Hi, I’m Emma Horwood — a wedding photographer based in Adelaide, specialising in natural light, emotion-filled imagery, and timeless storytelling through a blend of documentary and editorial styles.

My style is guided by storytelling. I believe in combining candid moments, gentle direction, and considered poses to truly capture the entirety of your love story. I draw inspiration from iconic & romantic cinematography—think Pride and Prejudice, Lady Chatterley’s Lover, One Day, The Notebook, Out of Africa, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Ghost… the list goes on. This approach to photography results in wedding images that feel more like cinematic stills than stiff, uncomfortable posed shots. Basically, if you want your wedding day to look like love from the movies, I’m your girl. This style is also perfect for couples who feel unsure of what to do, or feel a little awkward in front of the camera.

Apart from photography, I’m a typical Adelaide Hills girl who loves a cup of tea by the fire, a bit of gardening, interior design & architecture, long countryside walks with my border collie, and a few squares (or more) of ALDI’s hazelnut praline chocolate.
